Creating fun and meaningful workations for digital nomads

Meet this week’s speaker:

Antony Minkowski, Co-Founder of Remotecamp

My name is Anthony, I’m currently working remotely and I have been passionate about travel all my life. New places and new people have inspired me throughout this journey. I was fortunate to be engaged in a lot of projects that are creative.

However this all changed when the Pandemic hit and I found myself stuck, until I met Lena.We we’re both in a similar position, finding the restrictions challenging and having the urge to travel. So we created the first camp by gathering like-minded people such as entrepreneurs, startupers, IT-specialists, and together we went to Turkey, rented a villa and selves better, found their work & life balance here.

They found themselves happier and more productive, and continued to inspire each other. We discovered how people found a new lifestyle, explored wonderful places alongside their work.spent two weeks there. Even though we arrived as strangers we quickly developed a bond. We spontaneously organized workshops, brainstorming sessions, and most importantly the exchange of experiences and friendships. The community started to appear.

Now, after a series of successful camps in different countries, we know it works! People from different fields of activity, united by the desire to know themselves better, found their work & life balance here. They found themselves happier and more productive, and continued to inspire each other. We discovered how people found a new lifestyle, explored wonderful places alongside their work.

Cheapest Countries to Visit

One thing many of us travelers have learned by now is that any country can be cheap if you’re determined to stick to a strict budget. What is a Digital Nomad?

Nearly every person on the planet has dreams of exploring far off destinations, but did you know that your journey doesn’t have to be limited to the few weeks you get off from work or the gap year between school? If you have ever fantasized about dropping everything and living out of your backpack, the life of a digital nomad may be the answer that you’ve been looking for.

Digital Nomad Insurance Complete Guide

Travel insurance isn’t the most exciting expense but it’s absolutely necessary. We don’t want to sound too dramatic but for those traveling on a budget, it can literally mean life or death. Medical costs, stolen gadgets and flight cancellations will ruin your trip if you aren’t covered. Think about your specific travel needs by all means – but at least get the basics covered.
