Best Coworking Spaces in Medellín for Focused Remote Work

Medellín has plenty of coworking options, but “best” depends on thework you need to do. A quiet writing day, a week of video calls and a mo nth of community-oriented work are different purchases. This guide compares four spaces with current public information, focusing on day access, call privacy, hours and neighborhood fit.

Quick answer: Semilla Laureles has the lowest clearly tax-inclusive day rate in this comparison at COP 45,000 and the broadest published weekend hours. Inspira is useful for hourly or prepaid-hour access. 1 Segundo is a straightforward Laureles option with half-day, day, week and month prices. NOI in El Poblado lists soundproof cabins and 24/7 access among its services, but you should confirm which product includes round-the-clock entry.

Prices and facilities were checked on September 20, 2026. They are provider-published, not independently measured, and can change. We did not visit the spaces, run speed tests or score noise levels.

The prices above are not perfectly comparable. Semilla explicitly says its listed rates include IVA. Inspira shows base amounts and the 19% tax calculation for its day and fixed-desk products. The 1 Segundo page did not make the tax treatment equally clear in the information reviewed. NOI uses “from” pricing. Ask for the final, tax-inclusive total before paying.

How we assessed the spaces

This is a desk-research comparison based on each venue’s own website. We recorded public prices, opening hours, neighborhood, and whether the operator lists phone booths, soundproof cabins or meeting rooms. We do not treat marketing language such as “high-speed” or “quiet” as a measured result.

Before committing to a monthly plan, buy a short pass if possible and test the workspace during your real call schedule. Check Wi-Fi on your own device, upload a sample file, ask about backup internet and power, and stand inside the booth while a colleague listens from outside. Booth availability matters as much as the existence of booths.

For more context on the city, see our Medellín digital nomad guide. You can also compare the selection criteria with our guide to the best coworking spaces around the world.

1. Semilla Laureles: strongest all-week flexibility

Semilla’s Laureles location is the clearest choice here for people who want a transparent day price and the option to work on a Sunday. Its official page lists COP 45,000 for a day, COP 220,000 for a week and COP 650,000 for a month, including IVA. It also lists call booths, meeting rooms, dedicated desks and a relaxation zone.

The published schedule is unusually broad for a neighborhood coworking space: weekdays from 7:30 to 19:00, Saturday from 7:30 to 18:00 and Sunday from 9:00 to 16:00. That makes Semilla practical for travelers whose working week does not match Colombia’s Monday-to-Friday rhythm.

Semilla is at Calle 39C #73-7 in Laureles. The neighborhood generally suits nomads who want restaurants, cafés and day-to-day services without making El Poblado their base. “Call booths available” does not guarantee a free booth at your meeting time, so ask whether reservations are possible and whether day-pass users have the same access as members.

Best fit: a flexible week in Laureles, weekend workers and people who want an IVA-inclusive public price.

Confirm before paying: booth reservation rules, meeting-room inclusions, and the exact access time attached to each pass.

2. Coworking Inspira: best for hourly access

Inspira publishes a more granular menu than the other spaces in this list. The official page shows an hourly rate of COP 8,403 plus IVA and a day rate of COP 42,857 plus IVA. It displays the day total as COP 51,000 after 19% IVA. Prepaid bundles are listed at 30 hours for COP 148,764 plus IVA, 50 hours for COP 233,772 plus IVA and 100 hours for COP 425,040 plus IVA.

This structure can work well if you need a professional desk only for calls or focused blocks rather than every day. The page lists phone booths, which is a useful signal for call-heavy work, but it is not an acoustic test. Ask how many booths there are, whether they can be booked and whether there are time limits.

Inspira is on Transversal 39B in Laureles-Estadio and displays hours of 7:00 to 19:00. A fixed desk is shown at COP 595,000 plus IVA, or COP 708,050 with 19% IVA.

Best fit: people who can buy only the hours they need or want an early start in Laureles.

Confirm before paying: whether hour bundles expire, the full tax-inclusive total, booth rules and current weekend availability.

3. 1 Segundo: simple half-day-to-month ladder

1 Segundo presents a straightforward set of options: a four-hour half-day for COP 35,000, a full day for COP 48,000, a week for COP 220,000 and a month for COP 650,000. A fixed desk is also listed at COP 650,000. Because the page reviewed did not make the IVA treatment as explicit as Semilla or Inspira, confirm the checkout total.

The space is at Carrera 80A #35A-40 in Laureles. Published hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00, with Saturday access by reservation and closure on Sundays and holidays. It lists meeting rooms, coffee and a pet-friendly policy. We did not find an equally explicit phone-booth claim, so call-heavy users should ask whether a small meeting room can be reserved and what that costs.

Best fit: a half-day trial, a simple weekly plan, or workers who prefer western Laureles.

Confirm before paying: tax treatment, Saturday reservation requirements, meeting-room charges and a private-call option.

4. NOI: El Poblado option with soundproof-cabin claim

NOI is the El Poblado entry in this comparison. Its site lists a day
pass from COP 60,000, ticket bundles from COP 508,000 and meeting rooms
from COP 79,000. The provider also lists soundproof cabins, meeting
rooms, ergonomic furniture, coffee, reception, bicycle parking and
ground-floor accessibility.

NOI includes “24/7” in its services list, but the public page does
not make it safe to assume that every day pass unlocks round-the-clock
entry. Confirm access hours for the exact product you are purchasing.
The same caution applies to “from” prices: the final amount can depend
on duration, seat type or taxes.

El Poblado can be convenient if you live near your coworking space or
need meetings in that part of the city. It can also add commute time if
your apartment is in Laureles. Test the actual route at your working
hours before buying a long plan.

Best fit: El Poblado-based nomads who prioritize an explicitly listed soundproof-cabin option.

Confirm before paying: which memberships include 24/7 entry, final tax-inclusive pricing, cabin availability and guest rules.

Laureles or El Poblado for coworking?

Choose by door-to-desk time, not neighborhood reputation. Laureles
gives you three of the four options compared here and makes it easy to
trial several spaces without crossing the city. El Poblado may be the
simpler choice if your accommodation, clients or social plans are
already there.

Map your apartment, the coworking entrance and your most common
evening destination. Then check the route at 8:00 and 18:00, when
traffic can change a seemingly short commute. A cheaper desk is not a
saving if you regularly lose an hour traveling to it.

A practical test-day checklist

  • Bring the laptop, charger, headset and VPN you actually use.
  • Run download, upload and latency tests at arrival and during a busy period.
  • Upload a real work file rather than relying only on a speed-test headline.
  • Check mobile-data reception at the desk as a backup.
  • Make a short call from a booth and ask a colleague about echo and background noise.
  • Count available booths relative to the number of open desks.
  • Ask about power backup, secondary internet, guest access and meeting-room credits.
  • Verify air-conditioning, chair comfort, glare and music volume at your preferred desk.
  • Get the final price in writing, including IVA and any deposit.

Which Medellín coworking space should you choose?

Start with Semilla if weekend opening and transparent tax-inclusive
pricing matter most. Choose Inspira if hourly access matches an
irregular schedule. Try 1 Segundo for a simple half-day or weekly ladder
in Laureles. Shortlist NOI if you are based in El Poblado and want a
venue that explicitly lists soundproof cabins.

The best coworking space is the one that survives a real test day:
stable enough for your files, private enough for your calls, close
enough to use consistently and priced clearly enough to budget. Public
feature lists narrow the field; your own trial should make the final
decision.
